A poetic language where circus meets the visual arts.

Created in 2021, Compagnie Azul seeks to bring Circus Arts and Visual Arts into dialogue through the creation of stage works. It also develops plastic, photographic, and video art practices. The artistic direction is shared by Santiago Howard (Italian-Argentinian), CNAC (25th class), and Violeta Campos Eliçabe (Franco-Argentinian), UNA (Argentina). For several years, they have collaborated on a poetic artistic writing in which the power and openness of the circus body coexist with matter as both support and means of expression, and with space as a territory for exploration and for grounding what is felt.
